IN 2011 OVER 7,000 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE 19TH ANNUAL CICERO COMMUNITY FESTIVAL

Presented by the Cicero Chamber of Commerce and Driver's Village.

Friday, June 10, 2011, 5pm to 11pm
Saturday, June 11, 2011, 12pm to 11pm

The theme for the 19th Annual Cicero Community Festival
was "Hats Off to Our Heroes" - from local heroes to superheroes!
Honored at the festival was Jackie Robinson from CNY Central.com. Jackie graduated from Cicero High School. Jackie
was the Grand Marshall at the parade as well as at the festival.

Each day there was Entertainment! Friday night Ruby Shooz
performed from 6pm to 10pm.
"The Hottest Band on the Planet" performed on Saturday night from 6:15pm to 10:15pm.
with Latizia and the Z Band.

The highlight for Friday evening was the 9th Annual Cruise Night, hosted by the American Muscle Car Club. The car show
featured more than 300 show cars.
Saturday festivities kicked off at 12noon with the AmeriCU "Hats Off to Our Heroes" Community Parade. The schedule
included the Cicero Community Craft & Business Show, Basketball contests hosted by the Friends of the Canteen from 1pm to 5pm and the Star Search competition from 2pm to 4pm. There
was a fun zone for the kids, along with martial arts and karate demonstrations.

Also Gerry McNamara with Syracuse University Basketball
was at the festival from 3pm and 4pm, courtesy of Driver's Village. Gerry
signed autographs for over 150 people along with
fans taking pictures with him.

In the evening the movie "Despicable Me"
was postponed to 2012 due to inclement weather,
however The Price Chopper Fireworks still took place
with a wondrous display!
Festival admission was free on Saturday.
Both nights on Friday and Saturday at 8pm will featured a Dance Contest with cash and prizes for the winning couples!
Also there'll was a variety non-food and food vendors to visit on both days.

New York Almond Company - Gourmet Roasted Nuts, Fruit Smoothies, Frozen Chocolate Fruit Kabobs
