2013 AMERICU "CICERO GOES BROADWAY" PARADE

The Greater Cicero Chamber of Commerce 21st Annual Cicero Community Festival and Parade is scheduled for Saturday, June 8th.  We would again like to invite you and/or your organization to participate in the festival parade.

The Parade will start promptly at NOON and entries can line up beginning 11:00 AM. All entries should be in their correct location no later than 11:45 AM. It is a rain or shine event.  Our parade route will be - Crabtree Lane to Route 11 and ending at Sacred Heart Church.

This year's theme is "Cicero Goes Broadway"  The theme should cover any play or musical that has been on Broadway.

Awards will be presented in the following categories:

Floats: Most Creative, Most Original, Best Theme of Festival, Judge's Award

Scouting Units: Best Presentation

Participation Award: Community Service Organization, Business, Youth League, Neighborhood/Family, and Schools

 

The Chamber has set a policy that all entries must represent the "spirit" of the Chamber and no references to political affiliation, election or voting will be allowed.  We are extremely excited about our festival and truly appreciate total community involvement.  Finalized maps showing exact line-up location will be mailed by late May.
